Dear Friends,
Our readers support the People’s Tribune because it speaks the truth. It is a paper truly of, by and for the people. This is so because the People’s Tribune prints the voices of the leaders of the key battles taking place in the country today. First and foremost is the battle to get control of the corporations before they take over all of society.
And, the People’s Tribune is in the thick of this fight—from the struggle for democracy in Michigan, the testing ground for corporate fascism, to the fight of the people for redress from the poisoning of a city, to the shutoffs and privatizing of our water, to the struggle for the government to release the vacant homes it owns to the homeless, not to the developers, to the fight for equality, the ecology and humanity.
Within these battles, the People’s Tribune voices the people’s demand for the government to be our government and provide for our needs, not the corporations.
These battles are key to the fight for a new cooperative America that ends forever the immoral reign of corporate private property.
As we go forward in this struggle for life itself, the People’s Tribune is your weapon – please support it! It is a vehicle to bring the movement together, to create a vision of a better world and a strategy to achieve it. Your donations insure that the People’s Tribune accomplishes this mission.
