Amanda Fukamoto was displaced from her encampment when San Jose’s Coyote Creek flooded in February. Along with hundreds of other homeless people impacted by the flood, Amanda was declared ineligible for housing assistance because she “had no address”. You know the system is broken when Silicon Valley, the richest and most technologically advanced area in the world, forces thousands to live in tents under bushes
