Giving Tuesday: Help us make the People’s Tribune available in print, too

Peoples Tribune August September 2021 issue PDF cover

Dear Friends of the People’s Tribune,

The People’s Tribune has received requests to resume some form of a print edition (which was put on hold due to the Pandemic). Given that the movement is well underway, despite the pandemic — this country is seeing protests, rallies, strikes, and also all sorts of gatherings held indoors — distributors say they need print copies of the People’s Tribune to help get the information in the paper out especially to new fighters coming into the movement. A print edition could supplement the ongoing expansion of our social media presence. And it could enhance it by bringing more new people to our websites where we can begin to work together.

The People’s Tribune aims to build a network of correspondents across the country who report on the struggles developing in their cities and towns. When something happens locally, people just automatically think ‘Well, I need to write this up and get it to the People’s Tribune so the information can be shared widely.’ This is how we can help build up a national source of information that’s connected to a national network of movement newspapers, and that is a voice of millions of everyday people who are fighting to survive in an America in crisis. The People’s Tribune helps build connections among these fighters and the awareness that together we can create a whole new society and world where everyone’s needs are met.
