Please view this short video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s1ISZsc0HjE/ Jazmine is a young massage therapist who finds herself homeless, living in a large encampment of unhoused people after she became gravely ill, could not work and lost her home. She describes her shock and disbelief, having lived all over the world and never seen a country that neglects its people so badly. While remaining hopeful, she tells her story, warning that “this could happen to anyone.” The video was produced by Jody K. Biehl. Please share widely. Also, the encampment Jazmine lives in, is in one of the wealthiest parts of the country, and is now under destruction by the City of Santa Cruz, CA.

  1. Jazmin’s story should be a wakeup call for viewers. Sadly, and predictably, most are too interested in what doesn’t matter.
