Eduardo Castro was loved by many for his simple ways. A Vietnam veteran, he was active in many groups, including Veterans for Peace, Deported Veterans, Brown Beret de Fresno, Poor People’s Campaign, California Central Valley Journey for Justice. He rarely said no to a request for support. He wore many shoes and will be dearly missed.
Carolyn Milligan, a dedicated revolutionary who persevered through great suffering and difficulties, was outraged at how our society ignores people who need help the most; she insisted they should get help because they are entitled to it as human beings.
