Make the People’s Tribune October fund drive a success!

A new reader who is homeless told us, “When I saw your paper I gave it to others and said read it . . . I want to use the paper to awaken people to homelessness and that government is doing nothing to get people off the street. If I can get some papers, I’ll go around to McDonald’s, Burger King, the hospitals, and stick these papers around, getting people to pay attention. I will ask for donations, too!”
Readers want the People’s Tribune and its sister bilingual publication, the Tribuno del Pueblo, because it is a voice of millions of everyday people fighting to survive in an America in crisis. And it helps build connections among the fighters and awareness that together we can create a whole new society and world.
We rely entirely on donations from our readers and don’t take corporate money. As part of our fund drive from Oct. 1 to 31, we need our readers to do something to raise funds for the People’s Tribune. Hold a spaghetti dinner, a raffle, or other party in your home; ask friends for one-time or recurring donations; or hold a public forum with speakers about the burning issues in your community. It’s up to you.
Your donations will help us get correspondents out to where the fight is within the 2020 electoral battles, to more effectively challenge the corporate narrative, and help ensure your voices and demands are heard. Your donations will help boost our circulation, both print and online, among those fighting homelessness, for immigrant rights, for healthcare, for an end to climate change, against environmental destruction, and more.
Donate online at http://peoplestribune.org/pt-news/subscribe/ or mail checks to: People’s Tribune, P.O. Box 3524, Chicago, IL 60654. Thank you!

  1. I am the one of many, who does not make enough to pay my rent. The government elderly pays less, than my half of the rent. With every fiber of my being I want to gave you a $50 donation. But I do not know if I can afford even $5.
There are many folks as the disabled and the retired, that the government pays less than it’s peoples needs. That my feel the same. A $5. gift from the poor, is worth $1,000 from the rich. too bad it only buys $5. worth with it. But that is better then nothing.
The People Tribune, does good, and required work. I hope Others who can afford substantial gifts sends you much.
I hope, the Tribune can handle “breaking news” in the future. This means giving this group the technology, to act as Mainstream media. Help People’s Tribune to share information, and make this a better world.
