Don’t Be Fooled

Our Human Right Is To Remain With Family !

America was built by immigrants from all over the world. This includes those forced into slavery and brought against their will. It includes the Native Americans who were already here. Oppression, exploitation, and brutality have been part of this history, and it continues. Let’s be clear, America was not built by corporations. The sweat and tears of our ancestors is what built America.
Trump and his billionaire corporate buddies (ruling class), are using the same old tactics the have always used against working people. They control by dividing us and labeling some of us “criminals.” The Trump administration is using the “sanctuary cities” idea to confuse and divide the American working class. Texas is leading this effort by passing SB 4, the bill that gives the right to the state government to halt funding to cities that don’t follow the “show me your papers” law. No law is above God’s law.
Nationally, DACA has been “rescinded” and millions run the risk of being separated from their families and deported. Legislators have six months to provide other options -we need comprehensive immigration reform to benefit all eleven million residents and not just 800,000 dreamers. No reform without our parents!
The ruling class of this country is creating more laws that convert us into criminals for trying to survive. In fact, the problem is that this country is going through an economic transformation and the ruling class is laying the ground work for their own future at the expense of all of us.
More than ever before, economic conditions are deteriorating and we are witnessing more force and brutality against people trying to survive–street vendors, homeless, day laborers, etc.– against all of us. In the midst of the abundance that modern technology provides, there is no reason for anyone to go without basic necessities of life. All we need or want is a decent paying job, quality education, adequate health care, and a roof over our heads. That’s the reality.
Corporations and the billionaires who own them, fear our unity. Let us reclaim our morality and take back our country. We cannot be afraid of winning a better world.
An injury to one is an injury to all!
