When news and radio still tell now nothing of the greed
The streets are filling rapidly by those who are in need
I watched at city hall the rich all gathered for a feast
Thrown by yes Wells Fargo our nation’s great foreclosure beast
While homeless still get robbed of blankets by this city’s gang of cops
We protest outside city hall until their bubble pops
This government of ours they say is not for sale
Yet you can rent it still for cash each night in Frisco without fail
How many millions have been spent now simply for a race
Is the America’s Cup worth so much more than a hungry child’s face
Picture this now if you can and I do hope you will
As they get richer the number of homeless and hungry rises still

I think this young man is spot on. Everyone needs to be more aware of our homeless and the hungry masses on our streets . Nick you are a wonderful poet.
