Claire McClinton, born and raised in Flint, Michigan, UAW retiree, and in the thick of the battle for safe, clean water for all has joined Speakers for a New America! She brings analysis of what the poisoning of Flint’s water means for our country. Claire tells the untold story not just of the poisoning of a city’s water supply, but also how that poisoning is the result of a poisonous system, the system that allowed this to happen. In addition, Speakers for a New America has other speakers—Marian Kramer, Maureen Taylor, and Sylvia Orduño, who are in the forefront of the fight to turn water back on for thousands of Detroit residents who cannot afford its skyrocketing price.
Speakers can discuss why water should be publicly owned and on how to guarantee that everyone has safe, clean water – regardless of ability to pay!
Call Speakers for a New America today at 800-691-6888 or e-mail info@speakersforanewamerica.com to book speakers.
