“Homeless? We have 1 or 2 beggars downtown, but nobody is homeless – our government would never allow people to suffer like that – that’s an American thing”. ‘

We have the most expensive, powerful military in the world, yet this economic system can’t feed or house its people. We don’t need a killing machine, the likes of which the world has never before seen. We need a living machine, an economic system organized around meeting people’s needs. If we don’t create that, massive numbers of humans are going to perish.
