Together We Stand

By Tiree Pond

Together we stand divided we fall
So its no wonder the oligarchies stand
hand in hand like whos in whoville square
but what they don’t know
or understand or seem to care about
is that God has a plan

A plan bigger than the decimal or comma
bigger than the zeros on the checkbook
at the end of your hand, briefcase,
desktop or nightstand
God has a plan

The universe has a plan
that is bigger than the ego
of men and women
who believe that they’re bigger
or better than the program
and to the ones who are programmed
with the blueprint of this major plan

the you and I’s that see through the eyes
of the grand architect so while
we may be small to the ones who see
the decimal or comma as a means to an end
let me be the first to tell you
that’s all coming to an end
because the highest power has a plan

so I ask all the lovers, careers, humanity,
warriors, visionaries, activists, artists,
creators, compassioneers,

Please continue to do
what you know you’ve been called to do
by the omnipresent presence
in your heart mind and hand
like all those who stood before us
on this grand stage that we call life

….that you remember this
we can do anything and everything
if Together We Stand
